This tutorial will show you how to install Ola TV on FireStick. You will also find the steps to install Kshaw and Ludio media players. The instructions in the guide apply to FireStick 3rd Gen, FireStick 4K and 4K Max, Fire TV Cube, FireStick Lite, New FireStick 4K, New FireStick 4K Max, and even older Fire OS devices.
What Is Ola TV?
Ola TV is a streaming service that lets you watch live TV channels. This app features a vast collection of cable TV channels from all over the world. Ola TV has been around for a while. It is one of the best FireStick apps to stream live TV without burning a hole in your pocket. It is a third-party app (not available on the Amazon Store). However, you can easily sideload it on FireStick and Android TV.
Attention FireStick Users: Read before you continue
Your government and ISP are probably monitoring your streaming activities using your IP address 51.222.253.4 (exposed to all). You may get into serious legal trouble for streaming copyrighted videos on FireStick.
I strongly recommend getting a trusted VPN for FireStick to hide your IP address and protect your online identity.
I use ExpressVPN on all my devices as it is the most secure, fastest, and easy-to-use VPN. It comes with an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee, and you get 3 free months with the yearly plan.
Don't miss out on the peace of mind and online security ExpressVPN provides.

Is Ola TV Safe?
I cannot claim that Ola TV is safe with 100% confidence, as I am no security expert. However, I have Ola TV on my FireStick. I haven’t run into any trouble so far. Furthermore, I scanned the Ola TV APK file with Virus Total. Virus Total is an online antivirus tool. The antivirus checked the APK of Ola TV with 65 security vendors. One vendor did mark the file as malicious. However, 64 other vendors gave it a clean chit. I will continue using the app. But I would advise you to use your discretion. If you are not sure, you may try one of the other FireStick apps.
Is Ola TV Legal?
FireStickHow does not have the resources to verify the legal status of the Ola TV app. This app gets you live TV video streams from all servers across the world. Unfortunately, it is not possible to check and verify each stream.
You can avoid any legal trouble by sticking to the content in the public domain. However, if you can’t distinguish, always use ExpressVPN to mask your online identity and hide your streaming activities from everyone.
How to Install Ola TV on FireStick
Any app not available on the Amazon Store is called an unofficial or third-party app. To install any third-party app, you must sideload it on your FireStick. OLA TV is a third-party app, and I will show you how to sideload it. Here is what you are going to do:
Part 1: Prepare FireStick to Sideload Ola TV
Part 2: Install Ola TV on FireStick
In addition to the above, you will also install Kshaw and Ludio media players. Ola TV does not work if either is not installed. I have provided the steps to install these players after the steps to install Ola TV.
Part 1: Set Up FireStick for Sideloading
Setting up FireStick for sideloading is a two-part process:
- Install the Downloader app on FireStick.
- Grant permission to Downloader and enable sideloading.
I will provide the quick steps to install Downloader and enable it for sideloading. However, if you are looking for step-by-step instructions, follow our guide on installing and setting up the Downloader app.
Downloader is an official app. You can get it from the Amazon Store. The Downloader app allows you to download the APK files on FireStick.
To install Downloader, go to Find > Search from the home screen of your FireStick. Then, search Downloader and follow the onscreen instructions to install it on the device.
After installing Downloader, open the FireStick Settings from the home screen and navigate to My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps. On the following window, select and click the Downloader app to turn it ON or enable it.
Note: Some devices show Apps from Unknown Sources instead of Install Unknown Apps. In that case, click Apps from Unknown Sources to enable it.
So, you are now all set to install Ola TV.
Part 2: Install Ola TV on FireStick
Follow these steps to use the Downloader app to install Ola TV:
1. Click the Your Apps & Channels shortcut on the FireStick home screen (it is the button with 3 little squares and one plus sign on the right).
2. Scroll down and open the Downloader app (you may create the Downloader home screen shortcut for quick access).
3. If you are using the Downloader app for the first time, you see a couple of popups. After dismissing the popups, the following home screen of the app appears.
Click the input box as marked in the image below.
4. A popup keypad must now appear. Go ahead and type the following URL: firestickhow.com/ola
Please give it a second look to ensure you typed it right. Then, press the Play/Pause button on the remote or click Go on the onscreen keypad.
Note: The above URL redirects you to an external website where Ola TV is hosted. We do not own the app or APK. We are also not associated with the developers of Ola TV.
5. It typically takes a few seconds for the Downloader app to connect to the APK server. Additionally, it will take about a minute or two to download the Ola TV APK on your device.
6. When the download is complete, the Downloader app will automatically run the APK file. Click Install on this window (some FireStick versions may show a smaller, gray popup).
7. Wait for the Ola TV app to install. It shouldn’t take long.
8. When the installation is finished, you should see the App installed notification. I am not clicking OPEN yet. I am clicking DONE to go back to the Downloader app and delete the OLA TV APK we downloaded. This file is not needed because we have already installed the app. Removing it will save space.
Furthermore, we are yet to install the Kshaw and Ludio Player apps. But, as I said, Ola TV won’t work without them.
9. Click Delete.
10. Click Delete one more time.
11. Now, click the input field on the Downloader home screen again.
12. Type the following URL and click GO (or Play/Pause on the remote): firestickhow.com/kshaw
Wait for the Kshaw APK to download. Next, follow the onscreen instructions to install the Kshaw media player.

This is how you install Ola TV on FireStick.
Wait! It looks like you are all set to start watching your favorite content on FireStick. But have you protected your online identity yet? You are under constant surveillance by the Government and ISP. Free streaming of copyrighted videos may get you into legal trouble.
Thankfully, you can easily avoid online monitoring and safeguard your privacy with a trusted VPN on FireStick. A VPN will hide your IP address and online identity by encrypting your internet connection.
Please note that I am not encouraging you to violate any copyright laws. You should always watch the content available in the public domain. I am simply recommending the use of a VPN to maintain your privacy. You have every right to your privacy, which is constantly being breached these days.
I personally use ExpressVPN and have found it to be the fastest and most secure FireStick VPN. It is also the most streaming-friendly VPN I have ever used. Therefore, I highly recommend getting ExpressVPN for FireStick.
